The Handy Disciple is a program of Ray Matz Ministries LLC, based in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us. When you submit a form on this site, that is:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you provide it
- Whatever you write in the message field
- If you agree to receive text messages: the date and time you agreed, your IP address, the exact wording shown to you, and the page you were on
Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser information. That is ordinary web infrastructure, not profiling.
Why we collect it
To answer you. To schedule and deliver the consultations, coaching and other services you ask for. To send you the messages you have asked to receive. To keep a record that you agreed to be contacted. That is the whole list.
Mobile Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messaging
If you check the SMS consent box on our contact form, you agree to receive text messages from The Handy Disciple at the number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from our email list, and you can still reach us by email or phone.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
Who else handles your data
We use service providers to run this website, our forms, our email and our text messaging. They process your information only to provide those services to us and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send us for as long as you are in contact with us, and we keep text messaging consent and opt-out records for as long as messaging rules require us to be able to evidence them. When information is needed for neither reason, we delete it.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
Call or email us and ask. We will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form and no fee.
Deleting your information does not by itself stop text messages. To stop those, reply STOP to any message, or ask us and we will remove you.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No website or messaging system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle text messaging consent will be communicated directly.
